The easiest way To Make Kurkure/Kurmure in 30 minutes

In this article I am going to explain how you can make Kurkure/Kurmure at home in 30 minutes using simple ingredients. 

Ingredients and quantity

Rice flour                                    80 gram

Baking powder/Baking soda   a pinch

Wheat flour/ AP flour               15 gram

Gram flour                                  15 gram

Corn flour                                    5 gram

Oil                                     For deep frying

Water                                          160 gram

Salt                                                 TT

Kashmiri Mirch                          5 gram

Red chilli powder                      5 gram

Black salt                                      TT

Chat Masala                                10 gram

Methods of preparation:

  • Mix all the dry ingredients ( all flour) properly in a bowl
  • Add water and stir it properly. Ensuring no lumps in your mixture or in a batter.
  • Now, take a non-sticky pan and cook our batter in low-medium flame for 5-7 minutes, stirring continuously. The consistency of batter should turn into a dough.
  • Turn of the heat and leave it covering for 5 more minutes.
  • Cool it and knead it to form a dough.
  • Now, take some oil in your hands and roll small portion of dough into Kurkure shape. Just roll it in your palm using hand.
  • Deep fry it in Medium-high refined oil.
  • Now, sprinkle some chat masala, black salt, Kashmiri Mirch, chili powder. Add more spices if you want more spiceness. 
  • Toss it and serve with a glass of coke. 

Chef Notes: you can make rice flour in home by blending rice in an electric blender. Wheat flour refers to atta whole flour refers to maidaa. You can skip cornflour If you don't have. Always take water twice the quantity of rice and use little butter in dough to add more flavour in Kurkure.
