Guest Arrival Procedure in Hotel

  • When a guest arrives, doorman buzzes the bell captain desk for Bell boy.

  • The Bell captain will initiate Arrival Errand card by giving bell boy identity number who is attending the guest.

  • The Bell boy wishes the guest and unloads baggage. He place baggage at bell desk and awaits for instructions from Receptionist to move baggage to guest room.

  • The bell boy will inform lobby manager / Bell captain incase of scanty Baggage

  • The receptionist will confirm to bell boy that guest has been registered into hotel by signing arrival errand card and giving room number and key

  • The bell boy will bring to the attention of guest any pre - damage baggage to absolve hotel Responsibility for it 

  • Lead the guest to his/her room

  • The Bell boy will open the door and let guest enter the room first. He will keep guest Baggage in luggage rack.

  • The Bell boy pulls out certain and explain the feature and facilities of room.
This is the standard guest arrival procedure in Hotel. 

  • He wishes the guest a pleasant stay and leave 

  • He returns to the bell desk and complete baggage information on arrival errand card and give it to Bell captain.
